What is the Major Corridors Study?The Major Corridors Study will expand upon the County’s Comprehensive Transportation Plan to determine locations for corridor improvements and potential new roadway connections to meet our County’s transportation needs. This Study provides special focus on recommending future modifications (widening of existing roads, new alignment road, intersection improvements, etc.) to the County’s transportation network that will improve safety, access, and mobility for all users. What is the timeline for this study?The planning process will extend through the Fall, with adoption anticipated in November 2024.

Who is leading this study?Paulding County and its municipal partners hired a consultant team, led by Kimley-Horn, to carry out the study in close coordination with the Paulding County Department of Transportation. Kimley-Horn is supported by Blue Cypress Consulting and Brockington and Associates.
